Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – Finish
- Overtime:
- Saturdays: 1.5x pay
- Sundays: 2.0x pay
- Weekend work is limited but available depending on project needs
Job Overview
Aerotek is seeking motivated Construction General Laborers to join a growing civil contractor specializing in underground pipe laying and site preparation for new construction projects. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering consistent work throughout Central Pennsylvania and strong career growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with underground utility installation, including pipe laying, trenching, and grading
- Support site preparation for commercial and civil construction projects
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Work alongside operators and skilled trades on active job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of construction labor experience (civil/site work preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches and lifting heavy materials
- Reliable transportation to report to the shop in York, PA or directly to job sites
