Job Title: Welder and Fabricator (MIG/Stick)
Job Description
This role focuses on fabricating and MIG/Stick welding to manufacture crane-suspended material handling equipment and related steel components. You will work on a heavy mix of welding and fabrication, support large projects with a team of welders, and contribute to both new builds and repair work in a weld shop environment.
1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, overtime available on a voluntary basis
Responsibilities
- Fabricate & MIG/Stick weld crane suspended material handling equipment. (Mix of both welding and fabrication)
- Assist team of other welders to complete large fabrication projects.
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering on new designs.
- Repair work, as required, on units returned by customers.
- Use hand torches, plasma cutters, grinders, drills and drill presses
- Working with low carbon alloys and heavy plates from 1/2" to 1" or more

Essential Skills
- At least 3 years of welding experience with MIG and Stick processes in a production or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints or a solid general understanding of print reading for layout and fabrication.
- Proficiency in fabrication work, including tight-tolerance measurements and accurate layout of angles and dimensions.
- Skilled use of measuring tools such as dial calipers and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Hands-on experience with cutting, fabricating, bending, and fitting steel components
This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50182.00 - $56160.00/yr.
