Job Description
This role is pivotal in supporting daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative functions. The standalone position is perfect for someone passionate about supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Manage administrative HR functions independently.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies.
- Coordinate payroll and manage employee benefits.
- Develop and maintain employee handbooks.
- Provide guidance on HR policy and best practices.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Work with HRIS systems to manage employee data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Significant experience within payroll coordination.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Ideally 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Previous experience as the primary or sole HR resource for a business unit, site, or country.
- Experience in manufacturing or operational settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with benefits platforms is a plus.
This position supports approximately 40 U.S. employees, including around 20 at the Duncan, SC manufacturing facility and 20 remote sales, service, and support employees nationwide. The role involves significant autonomy and interaction with plant and commercial leadership teams. Initially, the position will be primarily onsite in Duncan, SC (4-5 days/week) to establish relationships and build HR processes. The work environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial, operating like a startup within a larger global organization. Candidates must be comfortable with change, ambiguity, and organizational transformation as services currently provided by a sister company are separated.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenville, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
On the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment, you will be eligible to participate in the Company’s benefit plans, which include Medical and Dental Plan coverage. There is a cost share for these benefits and employee contributions are completed through payroll deductions. The Company provides Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance, 100% paid by the Company. The Company also contributes 3% of your compensation on a biweekly basis to the Company’s 401k Plan. Per the plan documents, you are eligible to enter the 401k Plan on the first of the month after completing 90 days of employment. Employees are auto-enrolled to contribute 5% of their compensation on a biweekly unless the employee changes this amount at the time of eligibility.
