Job Title: Architectural Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a self-directed and experienced Architectural Designer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will develop designs from schematic concepts to construction documents, producing detailed working drawings. The role requires proficiency in REVIT and a strong understanding of construction materials and design intent communication. The candidate will also coordinate with consultants and engineers, supervise entry level professionals, and participate in bidding, contractor selection, and construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and review drawings according to established company standards.
- Perform basic architectural assignments and work from designs of others.
- Compile data, perform basic design computations, and prepare architectural plans, design details, and renderings.
- Utilize company project templates for project execution.
- Follow company QA/QC process.
- Maintain timekeeping and reporting daily, submitting weekly timesheets.
- Represent the company professionally in all communications.
- Follow company file management procedures to maintain project documentation.
- Attend project and company meetings as directed.
- Identify and participate in training opportunities to improve skills.
- Provide feedback on company policies to improve efficiencies.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- 5-10 years of experience designing and managing architectural projects, particularly within local government and K-12 schools.
- Experience with all design phases: Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for client, vendor, and contractor interactions.
- Ability to produce quality documents and meet project schedules and budgets.
- In-depth understanding of building systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Experience in construction administration is a plus.
- Understanding of consultant work for maintaining efficiencies and meeting deadlines.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
