GPS Heavy Equipment Operator
Pay for GPS: $25-$30/hr
Hours: 40-50+ hours a week (GREAT OVERTIME!!)
Job Description
Join a leading civil site contractor in the Greater Charleston Area as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Enjoy the comfort of being home every night with minimal travel requirements. We are looking for dedicated operators to work on various civil site projects while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, backhoes, and graders.
- Assist with manual labor tasks when not operating equipment, including shoveling, trench work, and loading/unloading supplies and equipment.
- Contribute to the team effort by being flexible in roles and responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure reliability and punctuality in all aspects of the job.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, and graders.
- Fine grading experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with GPS technology is preferred.
- Flexible availability for overtime and possible weekend work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in civil construction and earthworks.
- Foreman experience is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
