Description
The Technical Services Coordinator II is responsible for the administration and oversight of the 24/7 batch processing schedule. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within the computing environment, including networks and servers, to ensure smooth operations. The coordinator will leverage NOC tools to proactively monitor systems and applications, ensuring that batch processing occurs successfully within predefined service level agreements (SLAs).
Maintain production job schedules in the BMC Control-M job scheduling system.
Ensure batch processing occurs successfully within predefined SLAs.
Identify failures and troubleshoot or escalate accordingly using documented processes.
Execute on-demand procedures such as file transfers and administration of the tape handling system.
Proactively monitor for issues and failures on various systems, networks, and applications using standard software tools.
Document all problems or issues in the ServiceNow trouble ticketing system.
Maintain communications with external vendors and internal employees for quick resolution of issues.
Provide feedback to administrators on tool efficiency and display.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Nice to have: Understanding of Iron Mountain's vaulting system.
