Job Title: General Production - WEEKLY PAY - $18 to $20 AN HOUR - NO INTERVIEW - START ASAP
Job Description
This role supports the production of radiator and cooling systems by performing a variety of hands-on assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will rotate through multiple stations to ensure products move efficiently through the production line and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Rotate between four primary production stations involved in radiator and cooling systems assembly.
- Perform tube stuffing by inserting small tubes into larger tubes for radiator assemblies with accuracy and consistency.
- Hang hooks on the paint line to prepare radiators and components for painting.
- Insert plugs into radiators before they move through the paint line to protect components during the painting process.
- Push 25 small dowels through designated holes in radiators as part of the assembly process.
- Follow established production procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Operate within an assembly line environment, maintaining a steady workflow to meet production targets.
- Inspect parts visually during tasks to identify obvious defects or issues and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep the work area organized and free of unnecessary debris to support safe and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with team members, assemblers, welders, and machine operators to support overall production goals.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of production or manufacturing experience.
- Experience in production assembly or general production work.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, assembly line, or general labor setting.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely and repeatedly during the shift.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work a 10-hour shift as scheduled.
- Comfort working around machines, welders, and assemblers in a busy production facility.
- Reliability in following instructions and adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to rotate between different assembly tasks throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Previous work in radiator, cooling systems, or similar assembly operations.
- Familiarity with general labor duties in industrial or plant settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a team of production staff and support a growing operation.

Work Environment
This position is based in a busy manufacturing facility where machines, welders, and assemblers operate in the same building. The environment can be dirty and there is no air conditioning, so you should be comfortable working in a warm, industrial setting. The team currently includes about 60 employees and continues to grow, creating a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. This is a 1st shift role with hours from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, for a 10-hour shift schedule. Steel-toe footwear is required as part of the dress code to ensure safety on the production floor.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, SD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
