**Electrical Assembler - 4 Day Week!**
This role focuses on assembling, wiring, and testing electrical systems. You will work from engineering specifications and drawings to install and program components, troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuits, and ensure each vehicle meets performance and quality standards. The position suits individuals who enjoy hands-on electrical work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and prefer variety in their daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assemble under-dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a wide range of electrical components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications to ensure trucks are built according to design requirements.
- Program lighting systems based on engineering specifications, including flash patterns and light packages.
- Troubleshoot and repair 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry to resolve electrical issues and ensure proper operation.
- Perform electrical testing and inspection of products to verify performance against specifications.
- Conduct functionality checks on air horns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, and related systems.
- Identify and correct quality issues in electrical assemblies and installations.
- Use tape measures and other measuring tools to take precise measurements for accurate installation and assembly.
- Operate common hand tools and power tools, such as drills and screw guns, safely and effectively.
- Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining clear and professional communication with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred 1–2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand and work with both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
- Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, and schematic reading.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and electrical testing on circuits and components.
- Blueprint reading skills for electrical and mechanical layouts.
- Experience with electronic assembly, including circuit boards and soldering.
- Comfort working with 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry in a custom manufacturing setting.
