Skilled Press Operator Needed $23-27/hr!
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined press operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid tenure on their resume, with at least a year of experience in their current role. The position involves working in a loud, non-climate controlled environment, and requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Candidates will be trained to become robotic welders.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up various press machines including press brakes and punch presses.
- Receive steel coil from the crane way and assist in setting up the coil on the presses.
- Set up presses based on the part needed according to the sequence order provided in SAP.
- Perform initial and periodic quality checks as outlined in the control plan, recording all checks correctly.
- Learn and operate multiple presses, filling in for absences as needed.
Essential Skills
- Solid machine operating experience beyond button pressing or assembly line work.
- Mechanical inclination and the ability to learn new skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 70 pounds.
- Experience with blueprint reading and machine operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work a shift from 2:30 PM to Midnight.
- Flexibility and dependability in filling in for absences.
- Willingness to train as a robotic welder.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
