Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery within a clean, climate-controlled medical device manufacturing environment. The CNC Maintenance Technician ensures that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support consistent production quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues on CNC equipment in a timely and systematic manner.
- Carry out repairs and adjustments on CNC machinery to restore optimal performance and accuracy.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks on production equipment and related systems to support continuous operations.
- Inspect CNC machines regularly to identify potential problems and address them before they impact production.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and findings to support traceability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and resolve equipment issues.
- Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on electrical and mechanical components of CNC equipment.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience with CNC machine maintenance, including lathes and mills.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills for CNC machinery and related systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues on CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance on CNC machines to maintain reliability and performance.
- Ability to perform general maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of CNC machine components and their operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with clean, climate-controlled production facilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining equipment in top condition.
- Ability to communicate clearly with production and engineering teams regarding maintenance needs and status.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bartlett, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
