TEKsystems is currently hiring several Lead Low Voltage Technicians in the Clarksville, TN area. Technicians should have prior large commercial installation experience and be able to work without supervision. Technicians must have their own tools, reliable transportation, and be dependable. 🚗
Top Skills' Details:
- Low Voltage Installation: 3+ years of experience. You will have a helper with you, so no need to layout jobs or decipher cable pathways.
- Terminations: Proficient in making up cable ends.
- Scissor/Boom Lift: Certification required and previous experience operating lifts. (We can provide the training if needed)
Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:
- Experience in large commercial construction environments.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead a helper effectively.
- Dependable and punctual, with managerial references to validate these traits.
Job Description: 🔧 We are seeking skilled Technicians who can take direction and run cable with a helper in an industrial environment. The work environment will be very congested with other trades, so prior experience in new, large manufacturing plants or large commercial construction environments is essential. We are not looking for individuals who have only worked on tenant buildouts; large commercial experience is a must. The ideal candidate will work with very little supervision, stay on task, get work done efficiently, and lead a helper effectively. Dependability and punctuality are crucial, and we will validate these traits through managerial references. 💼
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have own tools; all major tools will be provided.
- OSHA 10 and Lift Certification required prior to going on site. (We can provide the training if needed)
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facility, large commercial, very congested, and safety-conscious.
- Hours: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Some night and weekend work may be required.
- Mandatory breaks: 9:15 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:30 PM (two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch). Additional time off must be coordinated with the onsite manager and TEKsystems rep.
