Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
The Assembly Technician works in the hardware department to assemble, inspect, and test products using hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns. This role supports production by installing components on toolbox doors and other equipment while maintaining high quality standards and following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and complete products within the hardware department according to specifications and instructions.
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install hinges on toolbox doors accurately and safely.
- Operate rivet guns to install panels on equipment in a precise and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Perform repetitive tasks while standing, bending, and moving as required by the production process.
- Lift and carry materials and components weighing up to 40+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet production timelines.
- Collaborate with team members and support other areas of the assembly line as needed.
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience using hand tools.

- Ability to operate rivet guns for installing panels on equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred but not required.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, assembly lines, or general labor in a production setting.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Comfort working with grease, dust, and other typical shop conditions.
- Openness to training and development for candidates with a good attitude and desire to learn.

Work Environment

Temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, so you should be comfortable working in varying climate conditions. The hardware department may allow you to sit while performing certain tasks, though standing, bending, and repetitive motions are still a regular part of the job. You will work with hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns in a production setting, and you should expect to get a little dirty while performing your duties.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
