Job Title: Electrical Foreman (Traveling)
Job Description
The electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within commercial buildings. This role requires ensuring all electrical work complies with local and national codes and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). The position may involve working independently or as part of a team, with a necessity to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations, including NEC.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of electrical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience running wire and conduit.
- Proficiency in bending conduit and performing a 3-point saddle efficiently.
- Strong understanding of NEC and local building regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Experience with construction and electrical tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to bend pipe more than 90 degrees.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting equipment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
Work in commercial buildings, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in tight spaces. Safety is a top priority, requiring the use of PPE, including a type 2 hard hat, high visibility vest, gloves, glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed boots. Work hours are 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend work as needed. Pay schedule runs from Friday through Thursday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
