Why Work Here?
Employees benefit from a laid-back, non-production-driven environment where no two days are the same and work varies throughout the day. Once hired permanently, team members enjoy a 401(k) with profit sharing, where employee contributions receive an additional company contribution, as well as medical insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off that increases with tenure. The team operates as a small, close-knit crew, offering the opportunity to learn a wide range of hands-on skills, work with different types of equipment, and grow into additional responsibilities, including driving company vehicles and supporting other regional sites.

The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but start and end times, as well as lunch breaks, may fluctuate based on workload, and overtime is common, including occasional Saturdays. The atmosphere is laid back and not driven by strict production quotas, and employees move from one task to another, rarely doing the same thing two days in a row. Dress is practical and work-oriented, suitable for outdoor labor in a dirty landfill setting and for working around heavy equipment and machinery.
