Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
This role is based in West Nashville and involves a variety of hands-on tasks in an outdoor automotive lot. You will move vehicles safely around the lot, document inventory accurately, and capture clear photos of vehicles while working in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles safely around the lot and position them in designated areas.
- Document vehicle inventory accurately, including recording identifying details as required.
- Take clear, accurate photos of vehicles for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Perform general labor and yard work tasks as needed to maintain an organized and safe lot.
- Assist with general production and loading activities related to vehicle movement and lot operations.
- Support basic landscaping and groundskeeping tasks to keep the yard clean and presentable.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times while operating on the lot.
Essential Skills
- Ability to safely drive and maneuver vehicles in a lot or yard environment.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year.
- Strong attention to detail when documenting inventory and taking photos.
- Experience with general labor, yard work, or similar hands-on roles.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including walking, standing, and light lifting.
- Reliable work ethic and consistent attendance for a Monday–Friday schedule.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous yard jockey experience is a strong plus.
- Experience in general production, construction, loading, or landscaping is beneficial.
- Familiarity with outdoor equipment and tools used in yard or lot maintenance.
- Comfort using basic devices (such as phones or tablets) to document inventory and take photos.

Work Environment
This position is based in an outdoor automotive lot in West Nashville. You will work entirely outside, so conditions will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with exposure to the elements year-round. The schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will regularly move vehicles, walk the yard, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced yet safety-focused environment. Dress should be practical and appropriate for outdoor work, including sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
