Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts including sit down, cherry picker, and reach forklifts. You will be required to lift up to 50lbs consistently, engage in palletizing, and perform case selecting throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit down, cherry picker, and reach forklifts.
- Consistently lift up to 50lbs.
- Palletize and select cases throughout the day.
- Engage in material handling, picking, loading, and unloading tasks.
- Participate in shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform order picking and use RF scanners for inventory management.
- Proficiency in operating sit down, cherry picker, and reach forklifts.
- Experience in material handling and palletizing.
- Ability to consistently lift 50lbs.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and order picking processes.
- Familiarity with using RF scanners.
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating reach forklifts and cherry pickers.
- Experience with pallet jacks and general labor tasks.
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled distribution center where you will engage in physically demanding tasks.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
