Warehouse Technician
Job Description
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for handling, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the warehouse. The role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring the accurate movement and storage of materials. This position requires a high level of safety awareness as it is designated as Safety Sensitive.
Responsibilities
- Use material handling equipment for inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks, and locating and picking materials into and out of warehouse racks.
- Safely operate assigned material handling equipment and ensure all equipment is inspected and in safe operating condition. Report all accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Stock and arrange products to ensure efficient warehouse inventory turns.
- Determine accurate material quantities through cycle counting.
- Receive materials into inventory, move materials by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick materials to/from warehouse locations as required.
- Ensure accurate entries of part numbers, quantities, and other data fields impacting electronic records of receipts, inventories, and locations. Resolve discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
- Ensure parts are located safely, observing pallet stability, heights, and ensuring racking and equipment are not damaged. Avoid leaving materials in aisles.
- Practice safe material handling techniques and perform housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Work overtime and weekends as required.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating sit down forklifts and other forklift equipment.
- Experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Knowledge of inventory processes and kitting.
- Ability to use RF scanners.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic warehouse setting with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires working with material handling equipment, including forklifts, and involves tasks at heights above 6 feet. The environment prioritizes safety and efficiency, offering opportunities for overtime during weekends.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
