What You’ll Do
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect non-occupied patient rooms in a timely manner (20–30 minutes per room)
- Make beds, flip mattresses, and ensure rooms are fully reset and spotless
- Safely handle and dispose of linens, including transporting heavy linen bags
- Clean isolation rooms while strictly following safety and infection-control protocols
- Manage soiled linens, biohazard waste, and general cleaning tasks with care and attention
What You Bring
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and push up to 200 lbs
- Strong reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working independently with a self-starter mindset
- Great communication skills to interact with patients, nurses, and medical staff
- Customer-focused attitude—even in fast-paced or challenging situations
- At least 6 months of cleaning or housekeeping experience (hospital or hotel preferred)

Schedule & Work Environment
- Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Days: Monday–Friday with rotating weekends
- Independent work environment—perfect for motivated self-starters

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
