Job Title: Architectural Designer
Job Description
The Architectural Designer supports project teams through the design and documentation of residential and commercial projects. This role focuses on producing high-quality construction documents, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and contributing to design development across multiple project types and phases. Architectural Designers work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that emphasizes efficiency, constructability, and technical accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Produce architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and details in Revit.
- Apply firm standards and ensure consistency across drawing sets.
- Support Project Managers and Architects with ongoing project documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, civil, and MEP teams in an integrated workflow.
- Respond to redlines, comments, and revisions efficiently.
- Apply building codes, zoning requirements, and accessibility standards to designs.
- Assist with municipal submittals and permitting sets.
- Ensure drawings align with construction and engineering requirements.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and file structure.
- Assist with coordination between architectural intent and constructability.
- Meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Experience producing construction documents.
- Working knowledge of architectural detailing and building systems.
- Experience with single-family, multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Familiarity working in architecture/engineering (A/E) environments.
- Understanding of residential construction methods and documentation workflows.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 1+ years of professional experience in architectural design or production.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
