About the Role:
As a CBRE Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing, monitoring, and optimizing safety programs across a significant portfolio of 52 hospital facilities in Texas. This position is integral to our Environment, Health, and Safety function, tasked with safeguarding our employees, clients, and surrounding communities by ensuring rigorous adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
You will act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing actionable insights and data-driven guidance to account management and site leadership. Your work will directly influence the development of strategic safety solutions, process improvements, and the cultivation of a robust safety culture across our healthcare portfolio.
What You'll Do:

You will act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing actionable insights and data-driven guidance to account management and site leadership. Your work will directly influence the development of strategic safety solutions, process improvements, and the cultivation of a robust safety culture across our healthcare portfolio.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the execution of HSE programs and initiatives. Ensure all facilities remain in full compliance with regulatory requirements, client mandates, and CBRE safety standards.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to injuries, illnesses, and safety incidents. Utilize advanced data analysis to identify trends and report findings to senior management.
- Conduct comprehensive facility audits to ensure operational standards are met. Lead incident investigations, manage documentation, and oversee corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Manage HSE documentation, including permits, licenses, and inspection records. Investigate complaints or suspected violations and ensure effective follow-up.
- Assist the HSE Director in developing and implementing strategic HSE playbooks and procedures. Support cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives as directed.
- Facilitate HSE training programs for facilities teams. Clearly communicate regulatory updates, inspection findings, and compliance guidance to client stakeholders and employees.
- Develop and maintain high-impact charts and dashboards to visualize data trends, providing clear insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks to support staff, and foster a collaborative environment focused on safety excellence.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Prior 4-5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within a healthcare or large-scale industrial facility environment.
- Deep understanding of HSE regulations, permitting processes, and compliance record-keeping.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (for data manipulation/reporting) and PowerPoint (for executive presentations).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing a large, geographically dispersed portfolio independently.
- Fundamental knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations preferred. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and / or compliance officers is beneficial.
- Certification in one of the following is preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
