Job Title: 2nd Shift Medical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on the precise mechanical and electronic assembly of cardiovascular medical devices in a cleanroom environment. You will use hand tools to build small, complex components such as plastic valves, stents, disposables, and assemblies for heart pumping machines, while following detailed assembly drawings and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assemble cardiovascular medical devices, including plastic valves, stents, disposables, and heart pumping machine assemblies, using appropriate hand tools and fixtures.
- Perform small-scale mechanical and electronic assembly work with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and other technical documentation accurately.
- Work consistently in a cleanroom environment, following all cleanliness, handling, and contamination control procedures.
- Use hand tools safely and effectively to complete mechanical assembly tasks on an assembly line or production environment.
- Follow production schedules and meet established productivity and quality targets for 2nd shift operations.
- Sign off on travelers and other production documentation to confirm completion of steps and compliance with procedures.
- Inspect assembled components visually and functionally to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and support personnel to resolve assembly issues and maintain smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety and cleanroom protocols throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for small mechanical or electronic assembly tasks.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment and following related protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical assembly in a production or assembly line setting.
- Familiarity with medical assembly or medical device assembly processes.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours from 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with potential additional work on Fridays.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience assembling cardiovascular medical devices or similar precision medical products.
- Experience in assembling small plastic components such as valves, stents, and disposables.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frisco, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
