Job Description
This role leads and coordinates data center construction projects from planning through closeout while managing a project team to deliver on strategic business objectives. The Project Management Manager oversees day-to-day project activities, ensures alignment with client requirements, and maintains clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a project team responsible for delivering data center construction projects in line with strategic business objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day activities for data center construction projects, ensuring work progresses safely, on schedule, and within scope.
- Coordinate closely with design teams, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Manage construction processes including detailed planning, scheduling, execution, and project closeout.
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to verify alignment with client requirements and project goals.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and changes to keep projects on track.
- Manage project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and change logs.
- Prepare and deliver clear, timely project updates and communications to stakeholders.
- Support internal processes and standards for project management, ensuring consistency and quality across assigned projects.
- Minimum 1 year of data center–related project experience.
- 4–8 years of construction project management experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction activities and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong coordination skills for working with design teams, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Proven ability to manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Preferred 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience managing or leading project teams in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through execution and closeout.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules, documentation, and deliverables.
- Ability to participate in a virtual interview process (2–3 virtual interviews).
This position is based on-site in Georgetown, TX, at a data center construction location and follows a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role operates in a professional office setting combined with regular interaction with an active construction environment. You will use standard office technology, including computers and the Microsoft Office suite, while collaborating closely with design and engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders. The work involves attending project meetings, reviewing plans and documentation, and visiting construction areas as needed to oversee progress and coordinate activities.

This is a Contract position based out of Georgetown, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
