Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator who is proficient in managing invoice processes, handling purchase orders, and performing three-way matching using Oracle software. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Sort, code and match invoices
- Set invoices up for payment
- Enter and upload invoices into system
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers, payments, and check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports and assist with month end closing
Essential Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle.
- Expertise in three-way matching and invoice processing.
- Ability to execute coding and reconciliation tasks accurately.
- Experience with accounting procedures.
- Competency in creating pivot tables and VLOOKUP in Excel.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a close-knit and high-performing Accounts Payable department consisting of seven team members, including an AP Manager and Treasury Director. The team operates fully in the office, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture. Dress code is business casual.
