Part Time Surgery Scheduler

Location: New Braunfels, TX

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgery Scheduler to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Reviewing messages sent from fax or email
• Checking in and checking out patients
• Collecting co-payments
• Confirming patient appointments
• Answering phone calls
• Surgery scheduling
• Handling prior authorizations
• Insurance verification

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Surgery Scheduler
• Experience in surgery scheduling
• Prior authorization experience
• Insurance verification skills
• 2 years of front desk experience
• Experience in gastroenterology, OB/GYN, family practice, or surgical environments

Work Environment:

• Part Time Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday and Tuesday; Friday 4-hour days 8am-12pm OR Monday-Thursday 8am-12pm and Friday 8am-5pm (based off preference)
