Mortgage Closer (Onsite)

Description

This role is responsible for following up with the title companies on any missing information and collecting the information to clear the condition to get the loan pushed through. This person will be handling all the closing of deals. Once a loan is cleared to close, they will have to make sure all the taxes are correct. They will be responsible with working closely with our title vendors, then moving our file to the funding department.

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine data entry and validation tasks

• Initiating third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)

• Reviewing and validating loan documents

• Handling routine calls, emails and/or chat responses

Role is fully onsite in Plano, TX M-F first shift hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least two years of Recent experience working as a mortgage loan closer, especially with working in title.
• The experience must be recent and previous experience in Encompass is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with commercial lending, as well as FHA, VA, and consumer loans is a plus.
