Description
Experienced Facilities professional responsible for managing complex property portfolios and building assessment projects. Works independently to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of facility evaluations and consulting services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple projects and client portfolios with minimal supervision.
- Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating property, building, and roof assessments, inspections, and testing activities.
- Evaluating findings and providing technical recommendations, solutions, and modifications based on project requirements.
- Serving as a technical resource and mentor to junior team members.
- Collaborating directly with clients and project teams to define scopes of work, communicate project progress, and present findings and recommendations.
- Preparing and delivering both routine and complex client reports and other project deliverables.
- Developing client proposals and cost estimates, or overseeing their preparation.
- Participating in local and regional technical, professional, and business organizations.
- Representing the company through technical presentations, industry engagement, and authorship of technical publications and papers.
- Maintaining a strong commitment to safety by following established policies, procedures, and industry standards, participating in pre-task planning activities, and promptly reporting safety concerns to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in building science or related building field and 7-10 years’ experience in facility assessment. Or, in lieu of a degree, 11-14 years’ related experience.
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have:
- Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), and at least one other relevant certification (RBEC, BECxP, LEED AP)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
