Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at a metal fabrication facility. The primary focus of this role is to perform maintenance on manufacturing machines, including a new blasting machine, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Support the installation of new equipment.
- Assist machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Document all repairs and maintain records of maintenance activities.
- Promote teamwork consistent with the company's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Maintain and repair building plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems, and electrical systems.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including handling hazardous waste and following lockout/tagout programs.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in any industry.
- Mechanical experience with belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFD, and sensors.
- Experience in basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of PLCs.
- Good tenure with previous employers, demonstrating stability.
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical-Mechanical or Industrial Mechanics.
- Experience with welding, cutting, or fabrication.
- Familiarity with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
- Oilfield experience is acceptable.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic metal fabrication facility with shifts available as follows: 1st shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday; 2nd shift from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday to Thursday; and 3rd shift from 6 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday to Sunday. Enjoy a $1.00/hr night shift differential and a $2.50/hr weekend differential, with an additional vehicle stipend of $250 per week for those living in the San Antonio or Seguin area. The facility operates with various equipment, including CNC machines, benders, lasers, and more, in a variable climate environment.
