BIM Coordinator

Job Description

Actalent is hiring a BIM Coordinator specializing in electrical design to join our team. Our projects span data centers, mixed-use developments, and multifamily residences. As we expand our BIM department, we need a skilled individual to lead electrical design efforts, coordinate clash detections, and collaborate with project managers and installers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate electrical designs for various projects
• Perform clash detections and resolve design conflicts
• Collaborate with project managers and installation teams
• Produce detailed construction documents using Revit
• Create and manipulate Revit families and assemblies

Skills/Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in the BIM industry or with an electrical contractor
• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of NEC codes
• Experience with Revit 3D modeling of electrical systems
• Familiarity with fabrication and detailing processes
• Proficiency in creating electrical construction documents
• Experience with drafting and BIM practices

Work Environment

The position typically follows an 8-5 schedule with a hybrid work arrangement. Most of the work involves design and coordination of electrical systems, with minimal to no fieldwork required.
