- As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will perform the daily monitoring of water system functions.
- This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, which is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
- Conduct cold water tank and hot water storage unit inspections.
- Carry out all allocated service works within schedules to meet given deadlines and in accordance with health and safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Clean and disinfect showers, pipework systems, cold water storage tanks, and cooling towers under supervision.
- Complete complex chemical and non-chemical water treatments.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2 to 5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience working on commercial equipment is required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
