Job Description
Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers and excavators for land clearing, site preparation, and grading. Experience with GPS technology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers and excavators for land clearing, site preparation, and grading.
- Utilize GPS technology for precision in bulldozer operations.
- Conduct earthworks and civil construction tasks efficiently.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including bulldozers and excavators.
- Ability to use GPS technology in heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of land clearing, site preparation, and grading techniques.
- Experience with civil site and construction projects.
- Ability to work outdoors and adapt to various site conditions.
- Experience with highway projects is advantageous.
- Comfortable with occasional manual labor outside of equipment operation.
- Experience with multiple pieces of heavy equipment is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
