Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and tracking performance metrics, creating actionable reporting, and conducting insightful analyses to support key business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Define and track company-wide performance metrics to support key business decisions and determine relevant data sources.
- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Confer with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and identify problems.
- Conduct insightful ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
- Select the most appropriate analytical technique for various situations.
- Participate in the maintenance of BaaN integration settings and Integration Log Reconciliation.
- Provide data for periodic forecast reporting and assist managers in preparing the budget.
- Monitor actual vs budget analyses and follow-up on discrepancies.
- Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing ERP systems.
- Train BaaN and LISA users on company policies and procedures to ensure quality and prevent data discrepancies.
- Assist other departments with resolving issues and establishing procedures related to the ERP system.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts from other companies to develop reports.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of FP&A experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, PowerBI, and SQL.
- Background in data analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SAP.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI, and SQL.
- Understanding of IFRS standards.
Work Environment
The work environment is onsite Monday through Friday for the first 90 days, with an option for one remote day thereafter. The role requires a 40-hour work week with flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM.
