Job Title: Production Labor / Rail Car Unloader

No rail experience required — full training provided.
⭐ What You’ll Do
- Unload cement rail cars safely using pneumatic and mechanical equipment
- Hook/unhook rail cars and prepare them for unloading
- Use a 50‑lb industrial vibrator unit to assist material flow
- Start/stop unloading systems and monitor operations through a computer interface
- Attach pneumatic “boots” to rail cars and secure them with a locking lever
- Monitor silo flow and ensure material moves properly through the system
- Unload 4–5 rail cars per day (approx. 2.5 hours per car)
- Collect cement samples while following strict containment procedures
- Perform general housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, and keeping the work area clean
- Climb 2–3 flights of stairs and work comfortably at heights
- Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE

- Moving mechanical equipment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
