Job Description
Seeking a talented Architect to join our team, supporting design initiatives and managing project timelines. This role primarily focuses on industrial and data center architecture, requiring expertise in Revit for base building design and production. You will be involved in drafting, handling redlines, and potentially managing projects from start to finish. A passion for data centers and industrial work is critical.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys and input survey data.
- Develop space plans and provide space plan input.
- Process redlines on construction document sets.
- Collaborate with team members to produce construction document sets.
- Assist with measurements and understand USF, RSF, and core factors.
- Support the construction administration and submittal phases.
- Assemble drawing sets and coordinate lightly with MEP consultants.
- Meet with architectural representatives and maintain architectural resources, including CAD symbols and 3D libraries.
- Create renderings and assist with presentations, including colored elevations.
- Proficiency in Revit architecture.
- Experience in commercial and industrial architecture, particularly data centers, storage facilities, and warehouses.
- Base building experience.
- Strong project management and client interfacing skills.
- Experience in construction documentation and administration.
- Design development and schematic design expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture preferred.
- US Citizenship required.
- Basic understanding of building codes and ADA regulations.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reston, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.00/hr.
