Job Title: Order Picker / Shipping Associate
Job Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Order Picker to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in making sure customer orders are picked, packaged, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time. If you enjoy hands‑on work, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing things right, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Accurately pick, package, and label customer orders
- Build and prepare skids for both domestic and international shipments
- Verify order accuracy before shipment to ensure quality and compliance
- Move product using electric pallet jacks and sit‑down forklifts
- Work alongside your team to meet daily production and shipping goals
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of shipping experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience shipping with LTL carriers, UPS, and FedEx
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Experience using Windows‑based shipping systems and Excel
- Ability to work independently and stay on pace with production goals
Nice to Have
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Experience operating warehouse equipment with minimal supervision
- Dependable attendance and a strong sense of accountability

Work Schedule & Environment
- First shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Occasional early starts at 6:00 AM or late finishes at 5:30 PM
- Work is primarily on the loading dock
- Standing and moving for most of the day (approximately 95%)
- Ability to work occasional unplanned overtime
- Please note: the work area has a noticeable ink odor
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
