Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to manage all electrical aspects of construction projects, ensuring their safe, timely, and budget-friendly completion. This role involves supervising crews, managing budgets, and coordinating with other trades to ensure adherence to electrical codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical construction projects, including coordinating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise electrical crews, ensuring they follow safety protocols, adhere to project schedules, and complete work to the required standards.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring electrical work is completed within allocated funds.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with other project elements.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues that arise during the project, ensuring timely completion and preventing delays.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including work schedules, change orders, and safety inspections.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, electrical, and electrical construction.
- Proficiency in commercial construction, design-build, and warehouse construction.
- Strong experience in electrical design and installation.
- Experience with big box warehousing and general contractor roles.
- Expertise in construction supervision and subcontractor management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on projects upwards of $1 million.
- Design build project experience.
- Ability to work on exciting warehouse projects across the country.
Work Environment
The work environment is very close-knit, fostering a family-like atmosphere. The company offers flexibility and is growing, with improving benefits and a 401k program being implemented. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Safety attire includes a hard hat, vest, and shirts. You will likely receive a van within six months, along with mileage reimbursement, a company phone, and an iPad.
