Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to manage and update an outdated vendor list, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date. This role involves collaborating with purchasing and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Clean up an outdated vendor list of approximately 12,000 entries.
- Identify and remove duplicate or inaccurate vendor information.
- Ensure all vendors have up-to-date W-9 forms on file.
- Organize and maintain vendor information in the New World ERP system.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Generate reports on vendor data status and progress.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in vendor management or a related administrative role.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Basic experience with Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing, data entry, procurement, and order entry.
Work Environment
You will be part of a purchasing team of five, though you will be the sole person working on this project. The position requires full-time work from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break, and is fully onsite.
