Mechanical Assembler - Weekend Shift
Friday-Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM | Work Only 3 Days Per Week
Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with a consistent weekend schedule? We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers to build and assemble driveshafts in a fast-paced production environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with assembly, warehouse, manufacturing, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience who enjoy working with tools and equipment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble driveshaft components using hand and power tools
- Operate production equipment including saws, welders, hydraulic presses, and balancing machines
- Read work instructions and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy
- Use tape measures, calipers, scanners, and computers to track production
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot products to meet quality standards
- Load, unload, stack, wrap, and move materials throughout the facility
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools and working with machinery
- Ability to read basic work instructions and measurements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- High School Diploma or GED

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
