Job Description
The Commercial Service Plumber performs skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial settings. This role combines hands-on service work with mentoring responsibilities, ensuring high-quality workmanship while supporting the development of apprentices and delivering excellent customer service at client sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair work on piping, PVC systems, and related plumbing components.
- Diagnose plumbing issues, identify appropriate solutions, and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work independently on service calls, ensuring all tasks meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Train, guide, and supervise apprentices during on-the-job work to support their skill development.
- Follow directions and work instructions accurately to complete projects according to specifications.
- Interact professionally with clients at service sites, clearly explaining work performed and answering questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment during and after each job.
- Provide responsive customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with completed plumbing services.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience performing skilled commercial plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, including PVC and other common plumbing materials.
- Ability to work independently on service calls and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Capability to train and supervise apprentices while performing hands-on plumbing work.
- Effective customer service skills, including clear communication with clients at service sites.
- Reliability and consistency in following directions and completing assigned work.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards in all plumbing tasks.

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $114000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
