Architectural Designer


Job Description

  • We are seeking a talented and creative Design Technician to join our team and help bring clients' visions to life. You will play a critical role in the design and planning process for new residential projects with the opportunity to work on all phases of design.


Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Principals and Project Managers to understand client vision and requirements.
    • Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, renderings, sections, and construction documents.
    • Utilize building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental impact assessments to inform design decisions.
    • Coordinate with consultants and professionals to ensure timelines are met.

Essential Skills

    • 0-3 years of experience in residential architecture (multi-family and multi-unit buildings preferred).
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and ArchiCad (ArchiCad is a plus).
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience in ArchiCad.
    • Experience in Construction Administration.

Work Environment

  • Flexible work environment with 4 days in the office and 1 hybrid day, though a more flexible work schedule is supported for appointments or other needs. Initial training period requires 5 days in the office. Enjoy a fantastic office culture with mentorship and assistance in licensure, 11 days of holiday and 15 days of PTO, SEP IRA plan upon conversion, and an additional 10-20% annual bonus.
