Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role involves working on the assembly line of a large cabinet manufacturing operation, where you will help build high-quality cabinets and doors using hand tools and production equipment. You will perform a variety of tasks, such as assembling components, operating machines, and supporting different departments as needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble cabinets and cabinet components according to specifications and production standards.
- Install shelves, hinges, and other hardware on cabinets using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
- Work in the door department or other production areas as assigned to support overall manufacturing needs.
- Use hand tools safely and effectively to complete assembly, sanding, and related tasks.
- Perform general labor duties, including lifting, positioning, and handling materials throughout the production process.
- Operate production and woodworking machines as directed, following all safety and quality procedures.
- Assist with painting, sanding, or finishing tasks as needed to ensure products meet quality requirements.
- Follow detailed instructions, work orders, and production schedules to meet daily output targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and product quality.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve workflow.
- Adapt to different roles and departments as needed, supporting cross-training and continuous learning.
Essential Skills

- Experience using hand tools for assembly, installation, or related tasks.
- Comfort performing general labor duties in a manufacturing or production setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Background in production, assembly, or general labor is beneficial.
- Familiarity with sanding, painting, or finishing processes is an advantage.
- Experience with machine operation in a production environment is helpful.
- Openness to cross-training and learning new tasks and departments.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, modern production facility with approximately 500 employees, focused on building cabinets and doors. The facility is very clean for a wood production environment and is fully temperature controlled, providing a comfortable indoor workplace throughout the year. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering a consistent daytime shift. You will use hand tools, sanding equipment, and production machinery in a structured manufacturing setting, adhering to safety guidelines and standard work practices.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
