This field-based role supports the launch of a new delivery program by recruiting local small businesses to join a hub delivery partner network across targeted areas in Washington. You will visit prospective businesses in person, present the program, qualify interested partners, guide them through the application process, and help drive community-based referral efforts. Working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will also coordinate and execute recruitment events and maintain accurate records of your activity in Salesforce. The position involves regular travel of up to approximately two hours round trip and offers uncapped commission based on each partner successfully converted.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective small businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a one-hour driving radius to introduce the delivery partner program.
- Present and pitch the new delivery program opportunity to business owners and decision-makers, clearly explaining benefits and requirements to generate interest and applications.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.
- Lead and manage sales pipeline activities in Salesforce, ensuring all leads, status updates, and follow-up actions are accurately recorded and kept current.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, organizing, and hosting community-based recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and broaden program awareness.
- Import Excel spreadsheets and upload or enter weekly activity and performance data into Salesforce to maintain accurate reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping applicants solve problems encountered in the field.
- Manage daily travel schedule efficiently to visit multiple businesses, follow up with leads, and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high sense of urgency in all interactions with business owners, community partners, and internal team members.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven outside or field sales experience.
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with business owners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, track activity, and follow up consistently.
- High level of professionalism, enthusiasm for working with others, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for applicants in the field.
- Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technology tools.
- Ability to travel up to approximately two hours round trip on a daily basis.
- Prior experience in roles that involved sales negotiations or influencing customer decisions.
- Previous field sales experience beyond the minimum requirement is a plus.
- Comfort presenting in small-group settings such as lunch-and-learn sessions or town hall-style meetings.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with local community organizations and business associations.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the drive to achieve and exceed recruitment targets.
- Strong organizational skills to balance field visits, event support, and administrative follow-up.

The role requires daily driving of up to roughly two hours round trip, with mileage reimbursement provided. You will use Salesforce as the primary CRM platform and work regularly with Excel spreadsheets and other digital tools to track activity and performance.
