Construction Manager (Contract)

Summary:
This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating construction-related projects, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders. The Construction Manager will oversee project execution from planning through delivery, driving timelines, resource allocation, and technical integration. This position requires a strong balance of operational leadership, stakeholder communication, and project management expertise to support complex initiatives in a remote environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects by developing detailed plans, aligning resources, and ensuring successful delivery of objectives
- Direct and integrate technical and operational activities across multiple stakeholders
- Present proposals, updates, and project findings to clients and leadership
- Oversee workforce planning, including assigning, directing, and evaluating team performance
- Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource requirements, and market demand
- Collaborate with management, production, and cross-functional teams to define project specifications and processes
- Review and approve contracts, budgets, and cost estimates to ensure alignment with project goals
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards throughout project execution
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management or related field
- Strong project management experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Experience working independently and managing competing priorities
- Knowledge of construction processes, cost management, and quality control practices
- Understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and similar platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required
- PMP or PMI certification preferred
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 6 months
- Pay Range*: $80.00 - 90.00 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
