Dealer Support Specialist

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dealer Support Specialist to join a growing Dealer Experience team supporting dealership customers nationwide. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working in a structured environment, and providing exceptional customer service through written communication.
Unlike a traditional call center role, this opportunity is primarily focused on managing customer cases, processing orders, and resolving issues through Salesforce, Outlook, and internal business systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring dealership customers receive timely updates, accurate information, and effective solutions throughout the entire order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and enter dealer orders received through Salesforce web cases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage customer orders from initial entry through shipment and final delivery.
- Provide proactive communication regarding:
- Order status updates
- Shipping and tracking information
- Product availability
- Lead times and delivery expectations
- Pricing programs and policies
- Research and resolve shipping delays, expedited requests, and special-order inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to deliver timely customer solutions.
- Document and manage customer cases using Salesforce and internal systems.
- Provide high-volume customer support primarily through email and other written communication channels.
- Negotiate lead times and fulfillment options based on customer urgency and business requirements.
- Maintain compliance with established processes, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience involving issue resolution and customer support.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently resolve customer issues without relying on scripts.
- Excellent written communication and professional email correspondence skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn complex systems, workflows, and processes quickly.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a structured environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
- Experience in order management, order processing, or customer operations.
- Experience supporting customers through ticketing, case management, or email-based support environments.
- Experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, manufacturing, automotive, distribution, or dealer support industries.
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress.
- Experience working within process-driven environments requiring adherence to standard operating procedures.

- Collaborative team environment with approximately 17 team members and direct leadership support.
- Heavy use of Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, and internal business systems.
- Primarily case-management and email-based customer support.
- Structured, process-driven environment focused on accuracy, documentation, and service excellence.
This is a Contract position based out of Renton, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
