Job Description
The Project/Program Manager IV leads the coordination and successful completion of complex construction-related projects and programs from pre-construction through delivery. This role oversees all aspects of assigned initiatives, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations. The position requires extensive experience in project and construction management, strong judgment, and the ability to lead and direct the work of others while reporting on status and outcomes to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end coordination and completion of assigned projects and programs, ensuring alignment with defined scope, schedule, and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of construction-related projects, including pre-construction planning, execution, and closeout activities.
- Set clear project deadlines and milestones, assign responsibilities to team members, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
- Monitor and summarize project and program progress, proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies and driving timely resolution.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports and updates for upper management, clearly communicating progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Rely on extensive experience and sound judgment to plan, prioritize, and accomplish project and program goals.
- Perform a variety of project management tasks, including estimation, resource planning, scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead and direct the work of others, providing guidance, direction, and support to internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Apply a wide degree of creativity and latitude to solve complex problems and optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders using digital collaboration tools to ensure timely communication, alignment, and decision-making.
- Ensure that project and program activities adhere to established practices, procedures, and standards within the construction and project management domains.
- At least 7 years of experience in project management, program management, construction management, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong background in construction management, including oversight of construction projects and pre-construction activities.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution.
- Proven ability to lead and direct the work of others on complex projects or programs.
- Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within construction and project management.
- Strong technology competencies, including proficiency with Chime, Slack, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting status updates to upper management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- High level of creativity and adaptability, with the ability to exercise a wide degree of latitude in decision-making.
- Experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or in pre-construction planning and coordination.
- Experience preparing project estimations and supporting budget planning.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, innovative environment with evolving priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.

This role operates primarily in a virtual, work-from-home environment, using collaboration technologies such as Chime, Slack, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams for daily communication and coordination. The position includes travel to site kick-offs and related project activities, with travel requirements typically less than 50%. This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
