Job Description
The Superintendent leads on-site operations and safety management for commercial and public works projects, with a strong focus on K–12 school construction. This role oversees daily scheduling, coordinates subcontractors, enforces zero-accident safety protocols, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget. Must have experience with CLT(Cross Laminated timber) and experience with K-12 schools
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site operations for commercial and public works projects, with an emphasis on K–12 school construction.
- Plan and manage daily schedules to ensure all tasks and trades are properly sequenced and coordinated.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trade partners to keep work aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Enforce a zero-accident safety culture on site, ensuring all workers follow established safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, identifying and resolving issues that could impact timelines or costs.
- Review and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, clients, and trade partners to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Oversee project sequencing and logistics, including material deliveries, site access, and staging areas.
- Track and document jobsite activities, including work completed, inspections, and any changes or delays.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with all stakeholders, providing updates on schedule, safety, and site conditions.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout construction and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Support the timely completion of punch lists and project closeout activities.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on K–12 school construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) construction methods and systems.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to interpret construction documents accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to effectively direct field staff and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage daily scheduling, project sequencing, and coordination of critical subcontractors.
- Commitment to enforcing and maintaining zero-accident safety protocols on the jobsite.
- Experience delivering projects on time and within budget in a commercial or public works environment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $79.00 - $84.00/hr.
