The position involves some shop work, but requires 75% travel, allowing you to live anywhere. Work within diverse environments and manage installations and maintenance across various locations.
Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will provide professional project management, equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support services for a complete range of products. The role requires excellent technical, customer service, and communication skills, as you will also be responsible for training customer employees in fundamental operation and maintenance procedures. You will actively seek opportunities to improve company products, generate revenue, and enhance customer value while maintaining the company’s reputation.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects professionally and efficiently.
- Install and maintain a diverse range of equipment, including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and PLCs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide customer support services.
- Train customer employees in operation and maintenance procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve products and generate revenue.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Experience with installing machines that include conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and PLCs.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and related systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PLC programming skills are a plus.
- Ability to read ladder logic for troubleshooting purposes.

This is a Permanent position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $92000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
