Apprentice Plumber
Job Description
This role focuses on installing plumbing systems in new construction projects, including large commercial and industrial buildings as well as new-build tract homes. You will work with a variety of piping materials and systems, supporting experienced tradespeople while developing your skills in both residential and commercial plumbing environments.
Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems for new construction projects in large commercial and industrial buildings and new-build tract homes.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install PVC and other piping materials according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical tools to perform plumbing installations, adjustments, and minor repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area on both indoor and outdoor job sites.
- Assist with general labor tasks related to plumbing and construction, including material handling and site preparation.
- Inspect completed work to verify proper installation and compliance with plans and applicable codes under guidance from experienced staff.
Essential Skills
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Hands-on experience installing plumbing systems in new construction projects would be AWESOME, not required though
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction practices.
- Comfort working on both commercial building and commercial construction projects.
- Capability to work indoors and outdoors in varying job-site conditions.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
