We are seeking a reliable and hardworking warehouse worker to support daily operations in a busy warehouse environment. In this role, you handle receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as picking and preparing orders for delivery. You use material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and work with RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory and order fulfillment. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a desire to grow with the company, with plenty of opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Receive incoming products, verify quantities, and ensure items are correctly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists and shipping requirements.
- Operate forklifts, including stand-up and sit-down models, as well as reach trucks when needed, following all safety procedures.
- Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize pallets and inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Handle material loading and unloading, including heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, while maintaining safe work practices.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory, confirm picks, and update order status in the warehouse system.
- Perform basic computer tasks to log shipments, inventory movements, and order information as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including keeping aisles clear and materials properly stored.
- Follow written and verbal instructions in English to complete daily tasks and meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Inspect products and orders for accuracy and quality, promptly reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Support team members and collaborate with supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving schedules.
- Stand and move throughout the warehouse for the majority of the shift to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand and walk on your feet for the entire workday.
- Some experience operating forklifts is preferred, including stand-up, sit-down, and reach forklifts.
- Experience using pallet jacks and basic material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and inventory handling.
- Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions, labels, and documentation.
- Basic computer skills to enter and retrieve information related to inventory and orders.
- Basic math skills to count, verify quantities, and perform simple calculations.
- Comfort working with RF scanners for picking and inventory tracking.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or material handling role is an advantage.
- Familiarity with reach forklifts and stand-up forklift operation is preferred but not required.
- Experience with packing, palletizing, and preparing shipments for carriers.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong reliability and work ethic, with a desire to learn and grow into expanded responsibilities.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a warehouse setting with regular heavy lifting and a somewhat dusty environment. You spend most of the day on your feet, moving throughout the facility to handle materials, pick orders, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks. You work around pallets, shelving, and industrial equipment, following safety protocols at all times. Comfortable, practical work attire suitable for physical labor and warehouse conditions is expected.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tukwila, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
