Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you will fabricate and weld a variety of products including playground equipment, site furnishings, outdoor fitness systems, and bicycle security racks. This is an excellent opportunity for welders who take pride in producing high-quality work in a team-oriented shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding using short-arc methods with .035" and .045" wire
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Fit and assemble components for welding and fabrication
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Assist with general fabrication and shop duties as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and production requirements
Required Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience fitting and fabricating metal components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TIG welding on stainless steel and/or aluminum
- Custom fabrication or job shop experience
- Flexible, adaptable mindset with a willingness to assist in multiple areas of production
