Job Title: Product Test Technician
Job Description
The Product Test Technician performs quality and product development laboratory testing, delivers accurate and timely test results, and provides objective analysis of findings to internal submitters. This role maintains precise laboratory records and equipment and works collaboratively as part of the Product Test Lab team to support and achieve shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of quality and product development tests in a laboratory environment following established test procedures and standards.
- Generate accurate, timely test results and clearly communicate findings and objective analysis to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed and organized laboratory records, including test data, observations, and reports.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
- Follow quality control and inspection protocols to support overall quality assurance objectives.
- Collaborate with other members of the Product Test Lab team to achieve team goals and support ongoing projects.
- Work efficiently under time constraints and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Apply strong analytical skills to interpret test results and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes, documentation, and laboratory practices.
Essential Skills
- Experience in lab testing, quality, or quality assurance environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test data and provide objective analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tests, records, and priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording results.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a laboratory setting.

- Basic mechanical aptitude related to operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Appleton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
